Unlocked Paranormal is committed to conducting thorough investigations while prioritising the safety and well-being of our team and guests. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all attendees are required to comply with the following terms and conditions.

By accessing this website or engaging with Unlocked Paranormal, you agree that your use of our services is governed by these terms and conditions. Your participation signifies that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

Please note:

Our events may involve darkness, confined spaces, and other elements that could cause discomfort. They are not recommended for individuals with a fear of the dark, enclosed environments, or those of a nervous disposition.
We strongly advise wearing warm clothing and sensible footwear for your comfort and safety.

By purchasing tickets, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Please bring a torch, a snack and a drink (we will also provide these on location). Areas investigated may vary subject to weather, restoration work or safety restrictions.

1. Age Restrictions

The minimum age for participation in all Unlocked Paranormal events is 18 years, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Proof of age may be required if you appear under 18. Failure to provide valid proof will result in refusal of entry, and no refunds will be issued.

2. Alcohol and Drugs

Strictly no alcohol or drugs may be consumed prior to or during any event.
If any attendee is found to be under the influence, they will be asked to leave immediately, regardless of time, weather, or personal circumstances. No refunds will be given.

3. Smoking and Vaping

In accordance with UK law, smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors at all events.
Designated outdoor smoking areas may be available at some venues, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

4. Accommodation

Unlocked Paranormal does not provide sleeping facilities unless explicitly stated.
Where overnight accommodation is available, guests are responsible for making their own arrangements.
Unlocked Paranormal accepts no liability for accommodation costs in the event of cancellation.

5. Personal Property

Unlocked Paranormal accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings, equipment, or vehicles.
All property remains the sole responsibility of the attendee.

6. Equipment

Unlocked Paranormal is not liable for any damage to participants’ equipment during or after the event, including damage allegedly caused by paranormal activity.

7. Insurance

Unlocked Paranormal cannot accept liability for any accident, injury, or death, however caused.

8. Behaviour

Paranormal investigations are intended to be respectful and enjoyable.
Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Attendees must act responsibly and avoid causing harm, distress, or damage to others or property.
Unlocked Paranormal reserves the right to remove any individual or group behaving inappropriately. No refunds will be issued, and police assistance may be sought if necessary.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person or persons. Any person or persons who feel they have been refused admission unjustly can request us to provide written reasons by making a request in writing to us within 7 days of the event.
All participants must follow the instructions given to them by our team at all times. This includes any local rules set out by the location manager or the venue representative.

9. Event Cancellation

Events may be cancelled or rescheduled due to adverse weather or circumstances beyond our control.
In such cases, refunds will be issued for the event cost or transferred to an alternative date.
Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed.

10. Statements and Opinions

Any statements made by investigators or mediums represent their personal opinions and should not be interpreted as fact.
Guests are responsible for forming their own views and decisions.

11. Paranormal Activity

Unlocked Paranormal does not fabricate paranormal activity.
However, we cannot guarantee that activity will occur during any event.

12. Health and Accessibility

Events are not recommended for individuals with serious physical or mental health conditions, or during pregnancy.
Guests must assess their own suitability and disclose any significant medical conditions at booking.

13. Recording and Media

Unlocked Paranormal may use photography, video, or audio recordings for promotional purposes on social media and other platforms.
By booking, you consent to this use. If you do not wish to appear, it is your responsibility to avoid being in frame.
Any media submitted by guests may also be used for publicity.

14. Payment and Refund Policy

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
Deposits, where accepted, are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Unlocked Paranormal.
Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or changes in personal circumstances.
By booking, you agree to indemnify Unlocked Paranormal against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation.

15. Medium Attendance

While we endeavour to include a medium at some events, this cannot be guaranteed.
Unlocked Paranormal is not liable for cancellations by mediums or for any offence caused by their views.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

1. Until payment is received by us the ticket has not been paid for, by paying the agreed price you agree that you have read and understand the terms and conditions relating to the sale of the ticket and that you abide with the requirements throughout the event.

2. All tickets must be paid for at the time of booking.

3. We will not be held responsible for transactions which do not complete successfully.

4. It is your responsibility to contact your bank should your payment not be received or cleared in time.

Disclaimer

You agree that paranormal events operated by Unlocked Paranormal are classed as alternative entertainment and are solely for public entertainment purposes only. We make no guarantee regarding the validity of the supposed paranormal activity associated with our locations or information, obtained from any of our sensitives, psychics, mediums, investigators or volunteers.

No perceived opinions, information, advice or comments made by any of our volunteers, guests, employees, sensitives, psychics or mediums should be interpreted as factual or actual.

We do not set up any tricks in advance nor do we create false experiences. We act with honesty and integrity. We ask that you behave in the same way. Anyone caught faking paranormal activity will be asked to leave.
