Like any other organisation we have some rules! These are in place to make sure your experience is a safe and enjoyable one. 

       When you book an event with Unlocked Paranormal, you have automatically agreed to the following terms and conditions.

• Under no circumstances are alcohol and/or drugs permitted during or immediately prior to any of our events. If we suspect that somebody is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, they will be asked to leave without refund.

​​

• Abuse towards team members, property managers/owners or other attendees will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be behaving in an abusive manner will be asked to leave. 

​

• You must be aged aged 18 and over to attend an event with Unlocked Paranormal.

​

• Please respect the beliefs of others at our events. The events will be host to believers and non believers of the paranormal. No matter what your belief is on this, everyone is attending the event to experience a paranormal investigation and hopefully have a good time in the process.

​

• You must make us aware of any health problems you have prior to an event. Some of the locations we attend will include steps, uneven floors and walking from area to area. Due to some locations being historical or listed buildings, disabled access can sometimes be limited. If this could be a problem, please contact us before booking.

​

• Due to some locations being in historical or listed buildings, for various reasons some areas may be off limits. Property staff or owners will make you aware of what areas are off limits. This is for your own safety so please don't go against the direction of staff/owners.  

​

• Please bring a torch as most of the evening will be spent in the dark.

​

• Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas identified by the property owners/managers. Please respect the venue and place all cigarette ends in the ashtrays provided.

​

• All locations must be respected. Many of our events are hosted in historical locations that contain antiques or relics that can be easily damaged.  We ask that all attendees consider this whilst on location and use care when moving around the building. Attendees must act in a sensible manner with respect for the property, contents and surroundings.

​

• Transport is not included on any of our events.

​​

• The events are not sleepovers. You are required to stay awake during the investigation. 

​

• You are attending the location at your own risk and we accept no liability for any accident or injury to yourselves, however caused.   

​

• We are taking you to reputedly haunted locations, but we cannot guarantee paranormal activity. We will not fabricate anything on any of our investigations. If anything is experienced by an attendee, it will be genuine and up to them wither they consider it paranormal or not. 

​

• For safety reasons, you must stay within your allocated group. If you wish to leave the group or are feeling unwell, inform your team leader and a member of staff will return you to the designated hub area. 

​

• All personal belongings, bags, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. Unlocked Paranormal are not responsible for the safe custody of participants’ property for its loss, damage or theft.

​

• All events are under instruction of the location manager/owner. We cannot guarantee access to all areas of a location as some areas may be deemed unsafe or restricted. Anyone found to be in a restricted area will be asked to leave the event. 

​

• By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from your participation in the activity.

• Unlocked Paranormal reserve the right to publish any pictures or other footage from the event in which you may appear in.

​

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, you will be required to sign in before each investigation begins for safety purposes.

 

 

Event Refund Policy

• Requests for a refund between six and four weeks prior to the event will be paid less a 50% cancellation charge.

​

• This percentage relates to the FULL cost of the event.

​

• No refunds will be given less than four weeks prior to the event unless there are exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Unlocked Paranormal.

​

• Tickets are not transferable without prior consent from Unlocked Paranormal. Any tickets resold without our prior knowledge will become invalid.

​

• No refunds will be given for lack of paranormal activity during the event.

​

• Unlocked Paranormal reserve the right to cancel any event in which you will be offered an alternative investigation.

 

• If you cannot attend an event then please contact us as soon as possible.

Online Shop Refund Policy 

​

• This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by Unlocked Paranormal.

• ​

• To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must be in the original packaging.

• ​

• Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 14 working days after the date of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the goods or services you wish to return. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us.

• ​

• Our standard returns policy entitles you to a full refund of the purchase price and postage and packaging charges if you change your mind (i.e. the goods or services provided are not faulty or were not described properly) within 14 working days.

• ​

• If the item you purchased was faulty or did not work properly, or you think the item was not as described in the item description, please contact us first before requesting a refund as we may be able to resolve your problem to your satisfaction.

• ​

• Where you would like to return a physical product you have purchased, please contact us to let us know that you will be returning the item. To obtain a refund for a non-physical product (like a service) please contact us for further information about how this can be done.

• ​

• Once your return is received and inspected we'll contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and process your refund within 3 days.

• ​

• If you haven't received a refund yet where we have told you we have issued one, please check your email to make sure it hasn't been received.

• ​

• If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).

• ​

• If an item you purchased was in a sale then it may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind. If you are in any doubt please contact us before making the purchase. 

​

• Any equipment purchased for paranormal investigating will not be refunded if you feel its not detecting paranormal activity. Paranormal activity is not guaranteed.
